Every enforcement action produces a statement of reasons, delivered to the participant it affects and written to an append-only record. The figures below are counted from that record by the database — they are not compiled by hand, and nothing here is a number anyone types in.

The split above is the number worth checking. Automated action is limited to things that can be undone — hiding content pending human review. Removals, suspensions, bans and credential revocations require a person, who is accountable for the statement of reasons attached to them.

Appeals against an automated decision are always decided by a person, one level above the decision being challenged.

Notices under the Digital Services Act, and any other legal correspondence: info@fidoboard.com, read in English and Dutch. Anyone may report content from the page it appears on, with or without an account, and contact says which route is which.

Child sexual abuse and grooming

Reports in these two categories hide the content the moment they arrive, before anyone has looked at it, and go to a person immediately. You do not have to come to us first, and you should not wait for us: in the Netherlands you can report directly to Offlimits, the national hotline for online child sexual abuse, and to the police on 0900-8844 (112 if a child is in immediate danger). Outside the Netherlands, your national hotline is listed by INHOPE.

We report this material to the relevant authorities ourselves, and we preserve the record rather than deleting it, because deleting evidence helps nobody.
